Here is the re-launch of Oliver and Benjamin. I decided to work in watercolor, which is a medium I love, though I become a bit obsessive about it. I hope everyone enjoys the re-launch of the comic. I wanted my passion for the comic to come across in this piece. I hope that continues to come across in future strips. -Dave
Here are the other two Delta Sonic billboards. They can be seen throughout Western and Central New York and in Chicago. If all goes well, I’ll have more up over the course of the year.
These are three billboards I worked on for Delta Sonic Car Wash. They are part of an advertising campaign for spring and summer clean up. These are the first illustrations I’ve had published anywhere, so it’s a surreal feeling.
I must apologize for the lack of updates to Oliver & Benjamin. I have begun to rework the series in watercolor, which is an extremely rewarding and time consuming medium. In the midst of re-working the strip, my son was born! So needless to say, our life here has been a bit hectic. Work on the strip is ongoing and will be coming soon. Thanks for understanding and in the meantime, checkout my other strip, Barely There. -Dave
I’m going to be doing Oliver & Benjamin in watercolor. I feel more connected to the work painting as opposed to working digitally. The story is personal to me, so I want to use a medium that portrays that feeling.
